For BOAT DIGEST ePub, please save original source files and supporting files along with a PDF/X1a file for reference for each ad onto a CD or DVD. Please send CD/DVD to BOAT DIGEST ePub to the address below.

For BOAT DIGEST, our printed version, ads must be submitted as PDF/X1a files.

Specifications for PDF/X1a files are as follows:

* All high-resolution images and fonts must be included when the PDF/X1a file is saved.
* Only use Type 1 fonts - NO True Type fonts or font substitute.
* Images must be SWOP (CMYK or Grayscale) TIFF or EPS between 200 and 400 dpi.
* Total area density should not exceed SWOP 300%.
* NO RGB or JPEG images.
* Do not nest EPS files into other EPS files.
* Do not embed ICC profiles within images.
* Ads that bleed should have a bleed of 1/8" per side.
* Resolution: 2400 dpi
* All image compression should be off.
* Embed all fonts. Do not subset fonts.

Files can be emailed to production[at]boatdigest.com or saved on a CD or DVD and mailed to BOAT DIGEST.
