Regulator Introduces 30-Foot Express
September 29, 2007 - 6:49pm — George Sass Jr.
Regulator, known for building quality center consoles, has introduced a 30 Express. It's the company's first in an expanding line of models that the North Carolina builder hopes will appeal to the serious angler who also wants a little more creature comfort. The 30 is designed by naval architect Lou Codega, who was responsibe for Regulator's original 26 Classic (an incredibly popular center console design). The engines are mounted on Armstrong brackets, allowing the transom to be pushed back and the deck space maximized. Regulator incorporated big boat seating to the cockpit and center helm station. An L-shaped seating area offers room to relax. There is mezzanine seating aft to watch your baits. A hardtop is standard. Power for the 30 is provided by twin 350 hp Yamaha V8 F350 outboards. These four-stroke motors utilize power steering and electronic controls. We're looking forward to testing this boat shortly. For more information log onto www.regulatormarine.com. |
